My wonderful friend and beauty blogger extraordinaire Meredith from ettuandyou suggested that I try Jane Iredale PurePressed Base foundation when I posted a call for help in my desire to find a new foundation.
I have dry skin so one would think that liquid foundation would be for me. True to the paradox that is me liquid foundation looks terrible on me. It goes patchy or it just gets sucked into my skin so fast why even bother? Powders seem to work best – but it’s a struggle to find one that is friendly for a dry skinned gal like myself.
According to Jane Iredale
- The look sheer and semi-matte
- The feel weightless
- Trust our mineral foundation to look like your skin, only better.
According to me
I am loving the foundation. It goes on so smooth and even and LASTS all day. I also love that it has SPF 20 because my skin needs all the love and help it can get. To top off my love of this product is how cute the packing is. I am a sucker for packaging.
This is a spa brand so you can’t find it in the shops. But their website makes is pretty simple to track down a distributor – https://janeiredale.com/ca/en/where-to-shop.htm
Yep I woke up like this – and it’s SCARY
Jane Iredale helped to even out and cover my dark circles
And my completed look so you don’t have nightmares of my make up free face!
This makeup does a great job of evening the skin tone. I have to go back and try some more. I really want to do an application or makeup lesson. We should do that! Thanks for sharing, and so glad that you like it. The compact alone is so beautiful.
