L’Oréal Paris TIFF 2013 Red Carpet Beauty Lounge & Screening of “A Random Desi Romance”

Toronto becomes a totally different city when the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) roles into town!  The Hollywood parties are in full swing and star gazing is in full effect.  The movie scene takes over and the city is all about fun, fashion, movies and glamour.

This year I was lucky enough to get invited to one of the hottest TIFF spots – the L’Oreal Red Carpet Beauty Lounge, which is a limited time pop up lounge at David Pecaut Square (behind the historic Roy Thompson Hall).

On the First Floor of the Beauty Lounge guests were able to get pampered and have their hair, nails or lips done in preparation for the film….or a potential run in with a star!

The upper level was where we could socialize, have some chocolate (thanks Lindt), have a drink and check out the official beauty collection of TIFF 2013 – the limited edition L’Oréal Paris Collection Privée.

I’m not going to say too much about the L’Oreal Paris Collection Privee in this post because I will save it for a stand alone post — but I will say IT’S AWESOME.  The packaging is glamorous … I can’t wait to pick up each and every lipstick and nail polish.

We got to attend the screening of A Random Desi Romance – a Bollywood film about a young man in India who ends up in a love triangle.  To be honest I wasn’t quite sure about the film going into it, but quickly fell in love with the characters.  It is a great film – so if you do get the chance to see it I highly recommend that you do.

After the film we popped back over to the lounge for a little bit more fun … and to watch the stars arrive on the red carpet for the screening of The Art of the Steal.

TIFF is a great Toronto event … so if you do get a chance to participate in any of the events or are able to see any of the films I suggest that you do.  As always L’Oreal goes above and beyond and were amazing hosts and offered products that are a MUST HAVE in your make up kit.  I will talk more about the products in my next post – but for now I hope everyone in Toronto (or visiting) are having a blast at TIFF.
