Simple – A Cleanser that lives up to its name

A little while ago I received a sample of Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads to try out. I am actually not familiar with the brand but according to their website they are over 50 years old and originally introduced perfume and colour free soap for those with sensitive skin. It wasn’t until 1978 that they rolled out the whole face care regime.

I like free samples and although I wouldn’t go as far to say that I have sensitive skin – I will say that my skin is getting fussier with age! So here are my thoughts:

What I like

•Soft and gentle only my skin – no redness or irritation that I have experience with other facial cleanser cloths
•One cloth really does work on my face and neck. I usually find that I need 2 – perhaps I’m just dirtier than the average girl
•The cloths stay moist – I HATE when they dry out quickly after opening.

What I don’t really like

•Not as deep of a clean as the typical facial cleanser gel, foam or soap. However I find this with all facial cleansers
•Slightly drying to my already dry skin

Overall for a cleansing cloth this is probably the nicest of the ones that I have tried. I don’t recommend that this replace your regular routine – but if you go to the gym or need to change your face quickly between work and play this is something that you should definitely pick up.

I’m interested in checking out more of their products in the near future. If you are familiar with their products please drop me a line and let me know your thoughts!
