Pixi Primer – The Real Reason I’m counting down the days until Target opens

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to get invited to a Sunday Brunch with to join some fellow beauty bloggers to learn about the Pixi brand and products from Amanda Bell from Pixi.  They were even so kind as to provide some products to take home and try out.

I am loving all the products, but the real star so far is the  Flawless and Poreless Primer.

I constantly complain about my dry skin-it’s gross and limits me to what products I can use (powders seem to make my skin look like it’s rotting off zombie style).  Also *GASP* I’m starting to notice the beginnings of fine lines and wrinkles (or have they always been there and no one told me???).

Therefore, for the past year or so, a primer is a must – and until now I have been using Smashbox’s or more recently Quo’s gel primers.

Now I love Pixi’s primer because it’s a cream, and it’s moisturizing and it WORKS.  My skin loves the extra moisture and my makeup is going on smoothly and lasting (and now I can go back to wearing powder bonzers to decrease my pasty whiteness).

Target is opening in Canada soon – and Pixi is coming with it.  It will be worth the trip and crowds to pick up some of these awesome products and if you have to fight someone for something, I totally suggest getting ready to battle over the primer-you’ll be thankful you did!

  1. This primer sounds like something I should check out – battling dry skin and large pores!
