What’s Up Nails

I was given these for free to review, however my opinions are still 100% my own

I have terrible nails and even worse nail art skills. I envy every person who has long styled nails and who have the skilled to paint (let alone do nail art) at home. When I was offered to try out some Vinyl Nail Tape Stickers & Stencils by What’s Up Nails how could I resist? Given the fact that Canada Day is just around the corner … and that there is some friction with our neighbours  to the south … I was doubly happy to rock the Canadian Flag (and Canadian Pride) on my nails.

The nail stencils are pretty easy to use – just paint a base coat (and seriously wait for it to dry – don’t rush it or the sticker will just peel off the polish), apply the stencil that fits your nail, push it down so it’s flat on your nail and paint on a colour. I didn’t use a sponge but I think if I was to do it again (which I will) that will get an even better outcome. I suggest waiting for your nail art to fully dry before gently removing the stencil and applying a final top coat.

What’s great is that this is a 2 for 1 sort of product because there is a small nail sticker left when you remove the stencil. Don’t let. that go to waste – just peel that, apply to the correct nail and then paint a couple layers of top coat to secure it.

Seriously I need a professional manicure – but even with my horrible nails the Maple Leaf is clear!
